My work makes use of a dry humor coupled with a serious or dark undertone to make the work more thought provoking. I also tend to gravitate towards mediums in which a substantial narrative can be told, such as film or comics. Film and comics are also much more democratic mediums, than say painting or sculpture, because of the ability for many people to view or own a print or digital copy of these works. I prefer economy in my storytelling, giving the viewer just enough and nothing extraneous.
